Miral Patel
Founder and CEO
Miral Patel is the founder and CEO of Mandali. He is Gujarati, born in India, and joined the US convenience store community as an adult, one relationship at a time.
In late 2022, while studying for his master's degree at Stevens Institute of Technology, he started spending time at Rangoli Paan, a convenience store in Jersey City, New Jersey, run by friends. Over 18 months he helped behind the counter, unpaid, and saw how the business really runs: hiring through WhatsApp groups, buying through word of mouth, and trust that lives in people's phones and memories.
Since then he has spoken with more than 300 store owners, managers and employees across New Jersey, Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida. Those conversations shaped what Mandali is today. Read the full founding story.
Before Mandali, Miral worked in supply chain at Mehsana Dairy in India and in client relationship roles in wealth management at Morgan Stanley in the Atlanta area. He leads Mandali's community, go-to-market and distribution.

Aniket Bedwal is the co-founder and CTO of Mandali. He is an AI engineer with about three and a half years of experience building production AI and backend systems.
He spent about two and a half years as an engineer at Genzeon, an IT consulting firm, building systems for a US healthcare client, where data security and privacy are required from the first line of code. He has also worked for about a year as an AI Engineer at JazzXAI.
At Mandali he owns technology end to end and is building the Mandali iOS app. Mandali handles employee work histories and owner conversations, so the healthcare-grade discipline around data security carries straight over.

They first crossed paths about ten years ago at a mutual friend's party and knew each other only by name. They reconnected through a founder WhatsApp group. Before deciding to build Mandali together, they did two video calls, spent three days together in person, took a one-day cooling-off period, and then both said yes independently.
Never alone.
Alone a store. Together a force.
