MandaliMandaliMandali (“we,” “us”) provides a community and marketplace iOS app for convenience-store owners, managers, and job seekers in the United States, and this website. Mandali is operated by Aniket Bedwal, who is the controller of the personal information described below. You can reach us at [email protected].
If you join the waitlist or contact us through this site, we collect the first name, last name, email address, role, state, and message you enter. We use it only to contact you about Mandali and to understand who is joining. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics that follow you across other sites.
We do not collect precise or background location, payment card or bank details, your contacts, biometric data, or health data. The app contains no advertising and no analytics SDK that tracks you across other apps or websites. We do not sell personal data.
To authenticate you, confirm age eligibility, operate the community feed, jobs, chat, services directory and notifications, and to enforce safety rules (automated content filtering, report, block, remove). Your phone number, email, date of birth and job-seeker details are visible only to you — and, for a job application, to the owner who receives that application. They are not visible to all signed-in members.

We may also disclose information where legally required, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our members. If Mandali is acquired or reorganised, information may transfer as part of that transaction and we will tell you before it does.
Mandali is available only in the United States and all application servers are located in the United States. Mandali is built and operated by a team based in India, and we access production systems from there in order to run and support the service. By using Mandali you consent to your information being accessed from India for these purposes. We rely on contractual protections with our service providers for that access.
In the app: Profile → Delete Account (also under Privacy & Security). You do not need to email us or wait for approval. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
It removes your sign-in credential, your Stream Chat user, your profile and public profile, space memberships, notifications, and the files stored under your account — profile photo and any resumes — plus chat images from your direct-message channels. Posts, comments and reviews are anonymised as “Deleted member.” Job applications are anonymised and your contact and free-text fields (phone, email, resume link, cover letter, experience summary) are cleared, so community threads stay readable without your personal details.
Direct messages are handled by Stream. We delete your Stream user, but a conversation may remain visible to the other participant in their own copy.

Depending on your state you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, obtain a copy, correct it, delete it, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA; residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than providing the service.
Most rights you can exercise yourself: your profile is editable in the app, and Delete Account removes your data. For anything else, email [email protected] and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent; we may ask you to verify your identity using the phone number on your account.
Sign-in is by verified phone number, so there is no password to steal. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider. Access rules restrict what any account can read and write — only the owner of a job posting can read its applications, only you can read your own profile and contact details, and chat files are readable only by the participants in that conversation. Access to production systems is limited to Mandali’s founders.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Some service-provider entries in the app are marked as demo listings for product illustration. If you believe a listing misrepresents a real business, email [email protected] and we will remove it.
Mandali is for adults 18 years of age or older in the United States. Do not create an account if you are under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe someone under 18 has an account, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
